I was piss...Of course I remember this distinction. I was pissed because my dad (who actually played more video games than I did during my childhood) insisted that we only have SNES, just out of brand loyalty... After several years he relented and we finally got Genesis (along with the extremely short-lived <I>Sega CD</I>), and I was able to discover in the comfort of my own home the superiority of the bloodier Mortal Kombat, as well as the far superior NHL 94, truly one of the great games of all time.
